Итоги октября начну с отдельного дайджеста по нашему отпуску в Турции, чтобы потом было легко все находить.

Мы запомним как
- восхищались античным Сиде;
- гуляли по затерянному Лирбе;
- как мы читали на агоре книгу «когда боги были детьми»;
- как в караван-сарае 13 века нашли надпись на деванагари;
- как ездили наблюдать нефритовую воду водопада Манавгат;
- как гуляли по крепости и любовались закатом в Аланьи…

А если все-таки захочется посмотреть отпускные пляжные картинки, красивые закаты и котиков, то вот они раз, два, три, четыре.

По возвращении под впечатлением
- читали «Мифы Деревней Греции в шедеврах искусства» и «Мифы Древней Греции» (изд. МИФ)
- сшили декоративный гранат

They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. So, uh, whenever I hear about Telegram, it’s always in relation to something bad. What gives? On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. The picture was mixed overseas. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell 1.6%, under pressure from U.S. regulatory scrutiny on New York-listed Chinese companies. Stocks were more buoyant in Europe, where Frankfurt’s DAX surged 1.4%. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change.
