17 января, примерно в 21:30, на 1 км автодороги, ведущей от ФАД «Кавказ» в сторону Сулака, 37-летний житель этого посёлка, управляя «TOYOTA LAND CRUISER PRADO», совершил наезд на 36-летнюю местную жительницу, которая шла по краю проезжей части дороги в попутном направлении.
В результате ДТП женщина скончалась от полученных тяжких телесных повреждений.
