Подруга моя, счастливый человек, читает «Щегла» впервые, а я, спустя лет этак 11, взялась перечитывать подарочный оригинал. Катя, я добралась до него! 😅 читаю с карандашиком и словарем, потому что хочу понимать примерно все и потом вернуться к самой интересной лексике.

Словарных остановок чуть больше, чем хотелось бы, но сойдет. Не знаю, сколько займет вся эта авантюра, - надеюсь, не больше месяца, чтобы меня не начало подташнивать от любимой книги, а то будет обидно.

Кто-нибудь здесь читал Донну Тартт на английском? Как впечатления по сравнению с переводом?
