The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a driving force in markets for the past few weeks. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. They commonly offer unrealistic returns of as high as 1,000% within 24 hours or even within a few hours. Multiple pro-Kremlin media figures circulated the post's false claims, including prominent Russian journalist Vladimir Soloviev and the state-controlled Russian outlet RT, according to the DFR Lab's report.
