По данным МО, первый удар пятью ракетами ATACMS ВСУ нанесли 23 ноября по позиции зенитного ракетного дивизиона С-400 в районе Лотаревки (37 км северо-западнее Курска). В ходе противоракетного боя боевой расчет ЗРПК «Панцирь», осуществлявший его прикрытие, уничтожил три ракеты ATACMS. Две достигли цели. В результате удара повреждения получила радиолокационная станция. Среди личного состава есть пострадавшие. Второй удар восемью ракетами ATACMS ВСУ нанесли 25 ноября по аэродрому Курск - Восточный. Семь ракет сбили боевые расчеты ЗРС С-400 и ЗРПК «Панцирь», одна достигла цели. В результате падения осколков ракет двое военнослужащих получили легкие ранения. Незначительные повреждения получили объекты инфраструктуры. Минобороны заявило, что контролирует обстановку и готовит ответ на удары.
