27 июля 2023 года состоялось заседание Совета молодых ученых и специалистов НТЦ УП РАН. После представления 26 июля 2023 и.о. директора НТЦ УП РАН Афанасьева М.С. и его советника Алейникова В.В. СМУС провел обсуждение неожиданной смены руководителя НТЦ УП РАН и ее возможных последствий, угрожающих интересам молодых ученых Центра. По решению Совета было составлено обращение, выражающее появившиеся в связи с этим опасения молодых ученых.
