В день 81-й годовщины полного снятия блокады Ленинграда мы выпускаем книгу о вкладе Горьковской области в спасение осажденного города. В основе - истории из экспозиции проекта «Я говорю с тобой из Ленинграда» и воспоминания 31 героя, пережившего тогда весь ужас блокады, эвакуацию. В том числе есть рассказы тех, кто ехал в эвакуацию в одном вагоне с Таней Савичевой.
Экземпляры этой книги направим во все центральные и модельные библиотеки региона, обязательно - в библиотеки и музеи населенных пунктов, где размещались тогда детские дома для эвакуированных. В электронном виде книга будет доступна на сайте областной Ленинской библиотеки.
История блокады Ленинграда - наша общая, и сохранение памяти об этом - святая обязанность каждого.

Though all three indexes opened in the green, stocks took a turn after a new report showed U.S. consumer sentiment deteriorated more than expected in early March as consumers' inflation expectations soared to the highest since 1981. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea. A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Overall, extreme levels of fear in the market seems to have morphed into something more resembling concern. For example, the Cboe Volatility Index fell from its 2022 peak of 36, which it hit Monday, to around 30 on Friday, a sign of easing tensions. Meanwhile, while the price of WTI crude oil slipped from Sunday’s multiyear high $130 of barrel to $109 a pop. Markets have been expecting heavy restrictions on Russian oil, some of which the U.S. has already imposed, and that would reduce the global supply and bring about even more burdensome inflation.
