У Центральному офіцерському клубі ПКС відкрили виставку «Похідні та натільні ікони Російської армії», де представлено ікони, що супроводжували солдатів – від Куликовської битви до сьогоднішньої війни в Україні.
Серед експонатів – сучасні ікони, створені спеціально для учасників «СВО», з якими російські військові вирушають на фронт, пише ресурс Християни проти війни.
Організатори називають ці ікони «духовною бронею», підкреслюючи, що бійці на фронті носять їх так само, як бронежилети і зброю. За словами клірика РПЦ Костянтина Татаринцева, солдати моляться про перемогу над ворогом, «як і століття тому».
Виставка, яка триватиме до кінця лютого, фактично перетворює релігійні символи на інструмент виправдання агресії, демонструючи, як Церква підтримує російську військову кампанію проти України.

At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. Although some channels have been removed, the curation process is considered opaque and insufficient by analysts. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. To that end, when files are actively downloading, a new icon now appears in the Search bar that users can tap to view and manage downloads, pause and resume all downloads or just individual items, and select one to increase its priority or view it in a chat.
