Сегодня возвращался домой после праздничной службы, и вдруг подумалось: а что было бы, если бы не произошло той важной Встречи в моей жизни? Встречи с Ним. Знаете, не мог представить. Просто пустота... слишком много в моей судьбе на Нём завязано.
Не встретил бы мою супругу, не родились бы мои дети, не встретил бы своих православных друзей, не воцерковилась бы перед смертью мама... многое бы не произошло. Думаю, что стал бы совсем невыносимым человеком, поскольку отсутствовал бы сдерживающий фактор моей веры. А я тот ещё вредина.
Кстати, на Сретение Господне 13 лет назад был рукоположен в священники. Не стал бы священником. Сейчас просто не представляю себя кем-то другим. Это уже неотъемлемая часть моей личности.
Ныне отпускаешь раба Твоего, Владыко... Почему праведный Симеон это сказал? Да, потому что этот земной мир похож на тюрьму с болезнями, скорбями, проблемами. И без Бога в этой тюрьме находиться просто невыносимо.
