Согласно подписанному протоколу о сотрудничестве с Египетскими национальными железными дорогами ENR, испанский производитель должен в течение двух месяцев разработать соответствующую проектную документацию. По информации газеты Daily News Egypt, стоимость проекта оценивается в €500 млн, их должен предоставить Европейский банк реконструкции и развития.
Министр транспорта Египта Камель Аль-Вазир заявил, что завод площадью 84 тыс. м2 будет создан в провинции Бени-Суэйф рядом с депо ENR. На площадке в два этапа намечено выпустить 100 поездов локомотивной тяги. Уровень локализации компонентной базы составит 45%, при этом на предприятии будет выполняться 97% производственных работ.
В августе-2022 Talgo уже подписывала протокол с властями Египта о возможности создания завода с начальным объемом выпуска 500 вагонов. Сейчас производитель реализует в Египте контракты на 13 поездов локомотивной тяги, из них 4 уже запущены ENR.

The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised.
