С 1 марта изменяется Положение об охране объектов культурного наследия. Поправки отменяют некоторые зоны охраны и ограничивают права граждан Российской Федерации участвовать в определении зон охраны.
"Из-под защиты вывели все памятники археологии, включая древние городища и крепости, некрополи, монументы и воинские мемориалы. Это позволит застроить даже земли вокруг Мамаева Кургана, Бородинского поля, зоны с петроглифами Онежского озера и ряда других объектов Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО."

Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. Elsewhere, version 8.6 of Telegram integrates the in-app camera option into the gallery, while a new navigation bar gives quick access to photos, files, location sharing, and more. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. But the Ukraine Crisis Media Center's Tsekhanovska points out that communications are often down in zones most affected by the war, making this sort of cross-referencing a luxury many cannot afford.
