Есть известное стихотворение Алексея Плещеева "Старик". Там есть такие строки:

Ты хотел мне нынче сказку рассказать. Посулил ты белку, дедушка, поймать.
- Ладно, ладно, детки, дайте только срок, Будет вам и белка, будет и свисток!
Мне всегда нравилось, что строчка "Будет вам и белка, будет и свисток" созвучна с английским выражением bells and whistles, которое означает что-то среднее между "свистелки и перделки" и "всякая дополнительная хуйня".
Белка и свисток - это как раз классическая любая дополнительная хуйня.
