Фильм посвящен феномену милитаризма, который по-разному репрезентуется в разных уголках Земли — в странах Восточной Европы, в Германии, Азербайджане, России и Украине.
«Железо» — совместный проект Латвии, Чехии и Украины.
37-й фестиваль документального кино в Амстердаме (Нидерланды) пройдет с 14 по 24 ноября.
