Предпоследний глава Олег Гуменюк получил сегодня показательно суровое наказание. 16 с половиной лет колонии строгого режима и штраф 150 млн рублей, которых явно у него нет.
Масштаб персоны и его деятельности, с моей точки зрения, точно не соответствуют назначенному сроку. Наказание близко по сроку с приговором другому мэру Владивостока Игорю Пушкареву. Тому хоть приписывали губернаторские амбиции, политические интриги, сам он себя на выборах называл "Человеком Кремля". Да и бизнес серьёзный. А Гуменюк?... Других мэров у нас сейчас нет. Сроки получают те, что есть.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell Friday, sending its yield up to 2% from a March closing low of 1.73%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 230 points, or 0.7%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.3% and 2.2%, respectively. All three indexes began the day with gains before selling off.
