В конце января ранним утром в дежурную часть МУ МВД России «Сызранское» поступило заявление от 34-летней местной жительницы.
Она сообщила, что в ночное время, когда она находилась на дежурстве, ее несовершеннолетнему сыну позвонил неизвестный и сообщил, что прямо сейчас злоумышленники пытаются украсть деньги со счета его мамы и их срочно необходимо перевести на «безопасный» счет.
Располагая доступом к банковскому счету матери, 16-летний юноша через ноутбук перевел более 52 000 рублей злоумышленникам. Узнав о произошедшем, мама подростка – 34-летняя женщина, обратилась за помощью в полицию. По данному факту возбуждено уголовное дело.

He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation."
