Крещение Господне — один из 12 главных православных праздников. Согласно Евангелию, в возрасте 30 лет Иисус Христос принял крещение от святителя Иоанна Предтечи. Во время таинства произошло великое чудо — явление Святой Троицы. Принял крещение Иисус в реке Иордан. Сегодня верующие, по его примеру, следуют традициям.
Сотни крымчан смогли окунуться в купель – очистить тело и душу, а ещё набрать святую воду из источников. Всех, кто уже успел совершить омовение, ждали угощения и крепкий горячий чай. За безопасность на местах отвечали сотрудники МЧС, полиция, медицинские работники.
