В городе Канаш мужчина в костюме Деда Мороза застрелил из двуствольного ружья 44-летнего владельца магазина «Березка», предварительно сделав с ним селфи. Погибший предприниматель, ранее работавший в правоохранительных органах, предположительно, стал жертвой мести за своё участие в аресте преступника. В итоге нападавшего задержали. На допросе тот признался, что костюм купил ради конспирации и надеялся, что быстро не опознают.
