В 1971 году Лайонел Левенталь с деловым партнером Клайвом Бингли организовали Выставку специализированных издательств для библиотекарей, на которой в тот момент было представлено 22 издателя, которые выставляли свои книги на столах.

Впоследствии масштаб и влияние мероприятия выросли и стали охватывать крупнейшие издательства всего мира. В прошлом году более 30 000 агентов, авторов, переводчиков, издателей и других профессионалов книжной индустрии собрались в Olympia London, чтобы заключать сделки и обсуждать тенденции в издательском деле, проблемы и развивающиеся жанры.
