Этап Открытого кубка России по волейболу на снегу провели в Южно-Сахалинске. Острова принимают мероприятие такого масштаба во второй раз. Сегодня выступали 6 женских и 7 мужских команд, всего 45 волейболистов. За победу боролись спортсмены из Калининграда, Брянска, Казани, Москвы и Московской области, Нового Уренгоя и Сахалина. Среди участников - мастера спорта и кандидаты в мастера спорта. Состязания на островах продлятся до 9 февраля. Команды победители отправятся на этап чемпионата России по волейболу на снегу, который пройдет в Московской области в городе Одинцово с 20-22 февраля.
