Не за работу и не за защиту, а за выступление. Хотя нет. Правильнее было бы назвать "за сидение в процессе" или "за присутствие". Именно присутствием, а не участием и не защитой, можно назвать то, что делают в стране 99% адвокатов. Так было при союзе, так обстоит дело и ныне. Сидят как пеньки, только глазами моргают время от времени.
27 февраля, кстати, Советский суд Уфы рассмотрит заявление Фатхуллы Исхакова о вызскании с государства потерянного заработка за время, проведенное в колонини. И за конфискованную корову, разумеется.

Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals.
