В этом словосочетании прекрасно и использование слова "русский" как синоним слова "российский" в т ч с возможностью их взаимной замены, и прямая отсылка к Русской Армии барона Врангеля.
Короче, больше Р-слов - хороших и разных - в русском обороте!..
