Почетное звание "Город трудовой доблести" Указами Президента присвоено 44 городам, где на заводах - нередко "с колёс", под снегом, 24/7 ковалась в тылу Победа.

РВИО поручена установка в этих городах мемориальных стел. Их архитектурная концепция едина для всех, но уникальна для каждого города - на стелах, барельефах, пилонах размещаются местные сюжеты трудовых подвигов.

Мемориалы уже появились в Магнитогорске, Коломне, Красноярске, Омске, Пензе, Самаре, Ульяновске, Чебоксарах, Челябинске и Саратове. Сегодня 11-я стела по счету открыта в Нижнем Тагиле, который сейчас празднует свое 300-летие (кстати, это тоже город, основанный Петром I).

До конца года установим еще 18 мемориалов.
