Супертраулер «Механик Маслак» – второе в серии судно, построенное для Русской рыбопромышленной компании на «Адмиралтейских верфях» по программе инвестиционных квот. Судно имеет высокий уровень автоматизации и прямо на борту может производить продукцию глубокой переработки.
Государственная программа инвестиционных квот стала возможной благодаря решению Президента России Владимира Путина. В рамках первого этапа программы строится 105 судов, на втором этапе построится еще около 45. Это позволит добиться отличных результатов в мировой конкуренции в области рыболовства, создать условия труда для молодого поколения, которое будет работать в рыбной отрасли.
Данное современное судно позволит более эффективно добывать водные биологические ресурсы.
