Как сообщает The Insider, памятник с надписью «Не сдавайтесь» на трех языках установили в 100 метрах от российского посольства, расположенного по адресу Rua Visconde de Santarém, 71.

На церемонии открытия присутствовали Юлия Навальная и Леонид Волков. Инициатива установки памятника принадлежит Associação de russos livres.

The Insider отмечает, что это первый мемориал в честь Навального, открытый в Европе.

Perpetrators of such fraud use various marketing techniques to attract subscribers on their social media channels. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine. The page is rife with disinformation, according to The Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, which studies digital extremism and published a report examining the channel. Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
