الله الله في من هرَع لباب مولاه وخالقه، مُعرّيًا قلبَه لمن يعلم خائنة الأَعيُن وما تُخفي الصدور، متعثرًا بجبال ذنوبه التي أنهكَته، متحسرًا على كلّ لحظةٍ ضيّعها في حقّ سيّده، مُرسلًا العبرات خائفًا وجِلًا على حال قلبه، مُبصرًا لمن سبقوه في تحقيق المراتب العليا من العبوديّة وهو حيث هو يتعثّر مرارًا فيا لسَوءَة فِعله.
الله الله في مَن سجَد في محرابه ولسان حاله: «أتيتك يا خالقي ومولاي وسيّدي بقلبٍ أنهكني، وروح أثقلت كاهلي، وجبالٍ من الذنوب، وأيامٍ من التقصير… إلّا أني أتيتك بقلبٍ يخشاكَ ويُحبّك، يرجوك ويخافك؛ قلبٌ يوقن أنه لا إلهإلا أنت، ولا ملجأ له من حاله إلّا إليك، أتيتكَ ربّي ولكَ من العبيد غيري، وأنا الفقير الذليل لا ربّ لي سواك!»
