Губернатор Ленинградской области Александр Дрозденко учредил новую региональную награду — знак отличия «За заслуги в поисковой работе». Знак будет вручаться гражданам России, которые занимаются поиском неизвестных воинских захоронений и установлением имён погибших героев. Ежегодно этой награды смогут удостоиться до десяти человек.
Каждый год в Ленинградской области к поисковым работам присоединяется около 2000 человек из более чем 25 регионов России. В течение поискового сезона проводится не менее 45 торжественно-траурных церемоний перезахоронения останков солдат, погибших в годы Великой Отечественной войны. В этом году поисковики обнаружили и перезахоронили останки 2386 воинов Красной Армии.

He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. "There are a lot of things that Telegram could have been doing this whole time. And they know exactly what they are and they've chosen not to do them. That's why I don't trust them," she said.
