فقه المقاصد يعني:أن كل حكم شرعي جزئي يقيم حكما أعلى منه وأكبر، فلا تزال الأحكام تتدرج وتعلو وتنمو وتكبر حتى تقيم الشريعة كلها عملا واعتقادا ويبنى منها كيان قوي مشتد متماسك، لتنتهي إلى إقامة توحيده - عز وجل - لتحقق غاية إرسال الرسل،وإنزال الكتب، وخلق الخلق، من لم يفقه هذا لم يفهم المقاصد:"وما خلقت الجن والإنس إلا ليعبدون".
