Экипаж корвета «Гремящий» Тихоокеанского флота выполнил ракетную стрельбу по береговой цели высокоточным комплексом «Калибр» из акватории Авачинского залива.

Особенностью выполнения плановой практической стрельбы стал пуск ракеты в сложных метеорологических условиях.

Ракета «Калибр» в расчётное время успешно поразила цель на полигоне «Кура» в Камчатском крае.

Дальность полёта ракеты составила около 1300 километров. Закрытие района выполнения ракетной стрельбы обеспечивали корабли и суда, а также самолёты морской авиации Тихоокеанского флота.
