В подшефном Кременском округе ЛНР астраханские специалисты за год построили и оснастили врачебную амбулаторию, восстановили две школы, 23 многоквартирных дома, объекты водоподачи и газоснабжения, разрушенные укронацистами. Масштабный ремонт провели в здании администрации, где разместится ещё и почтовое отделение. Вскоре передадим для этих учреждений всё необходимое оборудование.

Помимо этого, занимаемся оздоровлением детей, проводим совместные форумы с кременской молодежью. Передали округу специализированный автотранспорт. На регулярной основе доставляем гуманитарную помощь мирным жителям.

На этом, безусловно, наша шефская поддержка не закончится. Российские бойцы шаг за шагом оттесняют врага. Уверен, совсем скоро кременчане обретут мирное небо над головой. В этом году запланировали привести в порядок еще 18 многоквартирных домов, отремонтировать амбулаторию и Дом культуры. К работам приступим в ближайшее время.

On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. DFR Lab sent the image through Microsoft Azure's Face Verification program and found that it was "highly unlikely" that the person in the second photo was the same as the first woman. The fact-checker Logically AI also found the claim to be false. The woman, Olena Kurilo, was also captured in a video after the airstrike and shown to have the injuries. The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides.
