Операция прошла в г. Потсдам. При обыске в доме Ахмада И. силовики обнаружили СВУ, при помощи которого он планировал совершить теракт у здания посольства Израиля в Берлине. По данным спецслужб, после нападения подозреваемый хотел покинуть Германию и присоединиться к Исламскому государству в одной из стран Ближнего Востока.
По данным немецких СМИ, вместе с уроженцем Чечни силовики задержали еще пять сообщников, вероятно, участников ячейки ИГ. Еще двое мужчин успели покинуть Германию, они объявлены в розыск. Немецкие спецслужбы не опровергли и не подтвердили информацию о других подозреваемых.

He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
