A few weeks in and I see I have been a bit quiet on what the channel is about. Rather than following the understanding of druidry most have through D&D, I started this channel because I myself am soon to start my first lesson as a member of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids and wanted to have this channel as a diary of sorts. So Druidposting exists to chart my course on the druidic path and hopefully showcase authentic druidic values, such as deep ecology, earth-based spirituality, sustainable living, ecocentrism, veganism, animism, and more.
The channel will get political from time to time - unapologetically so. It is impossible to discuss environmentalism without discussing the corporations and capitalist system that is actively destroying the environment. This is druidry with teeth. If you are looking for a channel to make lip service to the Old Gods while swinging swastikas, othalas, and sonnenrads, you won't find it here. But for those who stick around, I hope to pique your interest and help everyone think of how to venerate the natural world around them and to build a better world from here.

That hurt tech stocks. For the past few weeks, the 10-year yield has traded between 1.72% and 2%, as traders moved into the bond for safety when Russia headlines were ugly—and out of it when headlines improved. Now, the yield is touching its pandemic-era high. If the yield breaks above that level, that could signal that it’s on a sustainable path higher. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. And while money initially moved into stocks in the morning, capital moved out of safe-haven assets. The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell Friday, sending its yield up to 2% from a March closing low of 1.73%.
