Полицейские г. Ессентуки задержали молодого человека по подозрению в покушении на незаконный оборот наркотиков. По предварительным данным, злоумышленник приобретал запрещенные вещества в сети Интернет для дальнейшего сбыта.
При участии сотрудников МРУ Росфинмониторинга по СКФО было установлено, что задержанный отправлял фото с мест закладок продавцу оптовой партии и получал оплату за выполненную работу в виде биткоинов.
Затем он конвертировал криптовалюту в рубли и перечислял деньги на свои банковские счета.
В общей сложности фигурант легализовал около 1,5 миллионов рублей.

The regulator said it had received information that messages containing stock tips and other investment advice with respect to selected listed companies are being widely circulated through websites and social media platforms such as Telegram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. "Someone posing as a Ukrainian citizen just joins the chat and starts spreading misinformation, or gathers data, like the location of shelters," Tsekhanovska said, noting how false messages have urged Ukrainians to turn off their phones at a specific time of night, citing cybersafety. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise.
