С июля по сентябрь граждане и бизнес потеряли крупнейшую сумму за последние четыре года, сообщается в отчёте Банка России. Зафиксированные потери значительно превысили средний показатель за предыдущие четыре квартала.
Около 40% хищений связаны с онлайн-банкингом и переводами, хотя раньше основные потери приходились на операции с банковскими картами.
В третьем квартале Центробанк заблокировал 12,1 тыс. мошеннических сайтов и страниц в соцсетях, а также передал операторам связи данные о 42,1 тыс. номеров злоумышленников.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. To that end, when files are actively downloading, a new icon now appears in the Search bar that users can tap to view and manage downloads, pause and resume all downloads or just individual items, and select one to increase its priority or view it in a chat. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. "Markets were cheering this economic recovery and return to strong economic growth, but the cheers will turn to tears if the inflation outbreak pushes businesses and consumers to the brink of recession," he added.
