Аферисты представляются работниками клиник и просят данные страхового номера якобы для записи на обследование. При этом с помощью данных СНИЛС они могут пробить паспортные данные, взять кредит или снять деньги со счета, сообщил депутат Госдумы Сергей Гаврилов.
💬 «Говоря простым языком, СНИЛС — это идентификационный номер, который точно идентифицирует гражданина», — пояснил он.
Гаврилов добавил, что к нему часто обращаются пострадавшие от этой схемы россияне.

Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. The regulator said it had received information that messages containing stock tips and other investment advice with respect to selected listed companies are being widely circulated through websites and social media platforms such as Telegram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. The Security Service of Ukraine said in a tweet that it was able to effectively target Russian convoys near Kyiv because of messages sent to an official Telegram bot account called "STOP Russian War."
