В начале января жители одной столичных квартир услышали мяуканье из-за стены. Поначалу они решили, что это звуки от соседского кота, и уехали на отдых. Вернувшись через пять дней и вновь услышав мяуканье, они вызвали спасателей.

На место прибыли волонтёры отряда «СпасРезерв». С помощью камеры они исследовали вентиляционную шахту и обнаружили котёнка на глубине 4,5 метра. Чтобы его спасти, спасатели разобрали часть стены, установили петлю для ловли и с помощью камеры аккуратно извлекли животное.

Выяснилось, что котёнок не принадлежал жильцам дома. Его приютил командир спасательного экипажа.
