Я пишу сейчас описание улиц и кварталов Дехайлы, и действительно, очень неудобно их называть номерами или сторонами света ("Южная улица" и т.д.) - и так текст пестрит этими ЮЗ, ВСВ и т.д. Решил дать им имена исследователей Дехайлы и других важных иракских памятников - улица Абдуламира, улица Генри, улица Фуада. И вот с улицей Генри или улицей Элизабет у меня вопрос к читателям. Эти ученые уже не работают в поле, но еще, слава Богу, с нами. Можно ли называть улицы их именами - помня, что все-таки эти улицы существуют прежде всего в документации, и по ним в реальности мало кто ходит? Или нельзя? И если нельзя, то почему именно?
UPD. Мой вопрос был не в том, можно ли называть улицы именами ученых; с этим я как-то уже определился), а - можно ли называть именами ученых, ныне здравствующих?

The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. That hurt tech stocks.
