Красивый, мощный и очень печальный проект «Цветы Беслана». Нина Линделл @ninatsuts создала инсталляцию из 334 бумажных маков в память о 334 людях, погибших 20 лет назад во время теракта в Беслане. Каждый цветок рассказывает о человеке: размер — возраст, цвет тычинок — пол, цвет лепестков — кем был человек, и что произошло с ним или с ней 1–3 сентября 2004 года. Цветы, символизирующие родственников, расположены рядом. Сама инсталляция сейчас находится в актовом зале Школы №1.

Нина делала эти цветы вручную больше полугода. По её словам, ей хотелось выразить свои собственные эмоции, вызванные трагедией, и высказать глубокое сочувствие пережившим этот теракт и скорбь по погибшим.

Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. The Nasdaq Composite tumbled 2.2% to 12,843.81. Though all three indexes opened in the green, stocks took a turn after a new report showed U.S. consumer sentiment deteriorated more than expected in early March as consumers' inflation expectations soared to the highest since 1981. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. Lastly, the web previews of t.me links have been given a new look, adding chat backgrounds and design elements from the fully-features Telegram Web client. The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych.
