Мастер-планы развития административных центров субъектов ДФО, городов с населением более 50 тысяч человек, а также Тынды и Северобайкальска разрабатываются по поручению президента РФ.
Изначально речь шла о 22 городах, но позже Минвостокразвития РФ предложило включить в программу центры экономического роста. Теперь мастер-планы будут разрабатывать для 25 городов.
От Приморья заявлены шесть городов: Владивосток, Находка, Уссурийск, Артем, Арсеньев, Большой Камень.
Первые предложения по развитию должны быть представлены и утверждены в рамках Восточного экономического форума в 2022 году.
Реновация, которая представляет собой замену ветхого жилья на новое, является существенной вехой развития каждого населённого пункта. Реализация программы в городах ДФО должна внести существенные изменения, направленные на улучшение жилищных условий, оптимизацию городской инфраструктуры.
