Turns out that Pam Bondis release of the Israeli Spy Epstein Files had Alan Dershowitz and Mike Cernovich work on the redactions. Basically nothing ever happens unless an insider leaks the unredacted documents without approval.

I actually think Zelensky has proven himself to be a talented statesman up to now, and when I saw the exchange with Trump and Vance I assumed this was a planned stunt by Trump, another way to publicly put Zelensky on the backfoot as a negotiating tactic.
But then I watched what came before the argument, and it was pretty standard stuff until Zelensky interrupted to lecture Vance after he said something that left the door open to negotiating with Putin.
Starting that argument there, in a language he still struggles with, inside the Oval Office, at a time when the Trump admin is turning him into a scapegoat for mishandling of the war, is just a bafflingly bad decision. I really don't know what he was thinking.

🇮🇱🇺🇸 Estimating the actual cost of America's support for Israel
I asked Grok to account for the cost of all direct aid, plus money spent on securing peace with Israel's regional neighbours, and any other costs of support that can be measured.
Noting that Israel has been the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign aid since its founding in 1948, Grok cites the Congressional Research Service (CRS) to show the U.S. has provided Israel with over $310 billion in direct aid (adjusted for inflation) since 1948. This is about $225 billion in military aid, and $80 billion in economic aid.
Since the onset of the Israel-Hamas conflict on October 7, 2023, the U.S. has significantly increased military aid. Grok finds an estimate from A Brown University report, putting the figure to at least $17.9 billion in military aid from October 7, 2023, to late 2024. Additionally, the current MOU (2019–2028) commits the U.S. to $3.8 billion annually, totaling $38 billion over the decade, with $5 billion earmarked for missile defense programs.
But this is just direct aid. The U.S. has also invested heavily in regional stability to support Israel’s security, often tied to peace agreements with neighboring countries. These costs are difficult to measure, and so the numbers Grok generates here are just the most conservative estimate.

There is a long-standing debate within nationalism on if the success of a nationalist project requires rehabilitating historical National Socialism.
In my latest essay, a response to some recent posts by Joel Davis, I argue it does not:

#TwoTierJustice This is far from new. Previous sentencing guidelines instruct judges that jail is more harmful for women and that they should consider cultural pressures when sentencing minorities. This is further building on from this, making it the law of this land. It underlines that White men are unfairly treated and that in fact 'institutional racism' is targeted at them. The earlier guidelines were brought in under the 'Conservative' Party, so this is rich.
