Как оказалось, Пашаев, служивший в 95-м стрелковом полку «Оплот» числился в штате подразделения пулемётчиком, но никто из сослуживцев там его не видел. Зато Пашаев активно пиарился в соцсетях, снимаясь в качестве «бойца СВО» и делая там громкие заявления. Чуть позже стало известно о том, что Пашаев был переведен в другое подразделение на должность командира танка. Как утверждает часть ресурсов, Пашаев самовольно покинул часть и уехал в Москву, где и был задержан 17 сентября за мошеничество. Пашаев обещал мужу блогера Блиновской, Алексею Блиновскому освобождение от уголовной ответственности за несколько десятков миллионов рублей.
