Правительство Ленобласти и акимат Жамбылской области Республики Казахстан подписали соглашение о торгово-экономическом, научно-техническом, гуманитарном, социальном и культурном сотрудничестве. Оно позволит создать новые производственные и торговые цепочки, наладить экспорт продукции из Ленобласти в Казахстан и будет способствовать развитию «народной дипломатии» в культурной, спортивной и молодёжной сферах. «Я хочу, чтобы у нас укреплялись прямые связи, сегодня для нас важно сохранить объемы экономического производства в регионе, создать новые логистические цепочки и сменить рынки сбыта продукции ленинградских предприятий. Сейчас в приоритете — восстановление объемов автомобилестроения в Ленобласти и сбыт продукции лесопромышленного комплекса», — сказал Александр Дрозденко.
