🔹ساکن جدید کاخ سفید بدون آنکه اشاره جدی به نظر فلسطینی‌ها و کشور‌های عربی در خصوص این ایده داشته باشد در اظهاراتی جنجالی ادعا کرد که قرار است اسرائیل کنترل نوار غزه را به آمریکایی‌ها واگذار کند و این کشور قرار است تا مسئولیت بازسازی غزه و تبدیل آن به منطقه اقتصادی را بر عهده بگیرد.
🔹پیش از این ترامپ پس از مشورت با استیو ویتکاف مدعی شده بود که فعلا قرار نیست غزه بازسازی و تبدیل به مکانی قابل زیست برای اهالی غزه شود، بنابراین لازم است تا اهالی غزه به سایر کشور‌های همسایه؛ به ویژه مصر و اردن منتقل شوند. پیش از این برخی منافع از برنامه ریزی ترامپ برای تسهیل روند شهروندان فلسطینی به مراکش، شرق سومالی و سومالی لند خبر داده بودند.
