13 декабря 1944 года Государственный Комитет Обороны СССР принял Постановление № 7133, в рамках которого Львов стал одним из ключевых индустриальных центров:
— Восстановлены железнодорожные узлы и вокзалы для обеспечения транспортного сообщения.
— Увеличены мощности трикотажных фабрик до 1 млн изделий в год.
— Создана обувная фабрика на 500 тыс. пар обуви в год.
— Открыта прядильная хлопчатобумажная фабрика.
— Запущено парфюмерное производство и макаронный завод.
