Вчера побывали со студентами на выставке «Место не хуже любого» в Еврейском музее толерантности - об эмиграции Бродского и его переездах. Он путешествовал с бешеной интенсивностью (возможно, как человек из СССР, закрытой страны), но и приглашений было много. Из любопытного на выставке - галстук другого нобелиата, Бориса Пастернака, переданный Бродскому в Стокгольме, в этом галстуке ИБ прочитал нобелевскую лекцию; табло со всеми международными авиаперелетами нашего героя; реконструкция полутора комнат в доме Мурузи; поддельное (?) приглашение ИБ в Израиль от Моисея Бродского.
Еще нужно было бы, конечно, выпустить сюда гулять кота. Выставка продлится до 12 января.

This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. And indeed, volatility has been a hallmark of the market environment so far in 2022, with the S&P 500 still down more than 10% for the year-to-date after first sliding into a correction last month. The CBOE Volatility Index, or VIX, has held at a lofty level of more than 30.
