Следующей точкой лишь бы успеть до нового ливня было святилище Гуань Юй, действующий китайский храм, который в прошлый визит игнорировала, а зря!
При входе встречает мощная фигура в китайской мифологии — не менее крупный по габаритам воин Гуань Юй. Особых ожиданий не было, и всё же традиционное убранство передало толику духовного наследия, люблю такие самобытные местечки.
Главная миссия храма — память о предках, когда-то переселившихся на Самуи из китайского Хайнаня. Здесь их приняли радушно, чего не скажешь о попытках ранее. В общем-то все переженились и родилось тайско-китайское поколение, а затем и вовсе открылись торговые пути между Таиландом и Китаем.
Кстати, комплекс находится рядом с красным храмом , да и по пути много различных достопримечательностей, можно посмотреть за пару дней.
