«Коли він був на війні, то поофірував, що побудує капличку, якщо вернеться неушкодженим. Радянська влада не дозволяла. Перед 1990-ми роками він почав потихеньку стягувати матеріал на будівництво. Це було скрито. Він казав, що будує альтанку», — розповіла Галина Сорокач, родичка Олексія Чудійовича. Вона тепер доглядає капличку.
