Продолжая тему кино, делюсь свежей рецензией на фильм «The Summer Book», который очень жду. Экранизация романа Туве Янсон снята американским режиссёром Чарли Макдауэллом, а в главной роли легендарная Гленн Клоуз. А вот здесь можно посмотреть небольшой отрывок из этого, кажется, очень медитативного фильма.
Съёмки проходили в прошлом году на островах Котка, Порвоо и Эспоо. Именно там режиссёр и его жена, актриса Лили Коллинз (она же Emily in Paris), провели целое лето. Вспомнила пост @okaybyeeeeeeee, которая в очень красивом лос-анджелесском доме Лили обнаружила оригинальный рисунок Туве Янсон с изображением Муми-тролля. Красота 🙂

At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. For Oleksandra Tsekhanovska, head of the Hybrid Warfare Analytical Group at the Kyiv-based Ukraine Crisis Media Center, the effects are both near- and far-reaching. Stocks dropped on Friday afternoon, as gains made earlier in the day on hopes for diplomatic progress between Russia and Ukraine turned to losses. Technology stocks were hit particularly hard by higher bond yields. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp.
