В регионе к состязанию присоединились 8 248 юных исследователей истории. Им предстояло ответить на 10 вопросов о государственных символах страны: гербе, гимне и флаге. Координатором олимпиады в Тюменской области выступила Тюменская областная научная библиотека имени Д. И. Менделеева.
С заданиями первого заочного этапа из общего количества участников успешно справились 2 547 школьников. Они вышли во второй этап, который состоится в очном формате 30 января 2025 года.
Всего в Олимпиаде в этом году участвовал 133 991 ребенок из 83 регионов России и 20 учащихся из общеобразовательной школы при Посольстве России в Марокко.
