Это решение приняли по согласованию с администрацией президента и с одобрения депутатов маслихата. Нового руководителя города представил активу заместитель акима Акмолинской области Ельдос Рамазанов.
Он выразил благодарность предыдущему акиму Алпысбаю Каиржанову и пожелал Касенову успехов.
