اینکه رئیس جمهور می‌گوید در هیئت دولت تصویب شده که از سایر شهرها هم نیاز به ویزا نباشد، نیاز به موافقت تاجیکستان و اعلام زمان اجرایی شدن این تصمیم دارد. هنوز خبری رسمی در این زمینه منتشر نشده. هنوز معلوم نیست شامل مبدأ غیر از شهرهای ایران خواهد شد یا نه.
دارندگان پاسپورت ایرانی برای ورود به «ازبکستان» در هر حال به ویزا نیاز دارند.
